Our PKD Journey
A Message from My Mom 💚
Could you help save my life? 💚
I'm humbly asking for your help.
I have Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), and my doctors have reached the point where they recommend a kidney transplant before dialysis becomes my next step.
We had so much hope that my husband, Kevin, would be my donor. He went through the evaluation process, but unfortunately, he was not approved to donate.
So today, I'm asking for something that isn't easy to ask...
I'm praying that someone will consider becoming a living kidney donor.
My transplant team has told me that the best way to find a match is by sharing my story. So, with faith and hope, I'm putting it out into the world and praying it reaches the right person.
💚 You can be a donor whether you live nearby or across the country.
💚 You can choose to remain anonymous or share your journey.
💚 Getting started is as simple as completing the donor evaluation application by selecting one of the links below.
Even if donating isn't possible for you, sharing my story could help it reach the person who is my match. That simple act could truly help save my life.
Thank you for your prayers, your kindness, and for helping spread the word.
With love and gratitude,
Juliet Truett
